1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and ARRWAY LTD (registered in England and Wales, operating Linggua) covering the linggua.ai website, the Linggua Mac app and related services. By using the service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. The service
Linggua is a Chinese–English real-time translation app for Mac, with live captions, speech translation and meeting audio integration. It depends on your network, your meeting software and third-party cloud services. Linggua is not a meeting platform and is not affiliated with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Tencent Meeting or other third parties.
3. Licence and activation
After purchase we send a licence credential to your billing email; activate it in the app. The licence is for your personal or internal business use and may not be resold, shared or used to bypass usage or device limits. A licence can be activated on up to 2 Macs; contact support to remove an old device when you reach the limit.
4. Plans, usage and payment
Linggua offers two monthly plans (Standard and Pro) and one-time top-up packs. Prices, included minutes, validity and metering rules are shown on the pricing and checkout pages. Plan minutes reset each billing period; top-up packs are valid for 12 months. The Chinese site shows CNY and the English site USD; the checkout page shows the settlement currency. Payment is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled; top-up packs do not renew automatically.
5. Trial allowance
New users may receive a one-time 10-minute translation allowance to evaluate the service. It does not reset monthly and may not be claimed repeatedly. Abuse, bulk registration or attempts to bypass limits may be restricted.
6. Refunds
Once a licence is activated or the service has been used, the service provided is non-refundable. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; the current paid period stays active and the used part is not refunded. Refund requests are handled case by case; contact support@linggua.ai if the product fails to work. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to immediate access to digital content and acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal; non-waivable statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
7. Translation quality and important information
Machine translation may contain errors or omissions. For legal, medical, financial, contractual, name, amount or date information, check the source and confirm independently. Translation output is not professional advice.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, recording or monitoring without consent, infringing privacy, reselling or sharing licences, reverse engineering, bypassing usage limits, or attacking or disrupting the service.
9. Availability
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network issues, meeting software or third-party failures. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Intellectual property
The Linggua software, brand, website content and related materials belong to ARRWAY LTD or its licensors. You retain rights to your meeting content, recordings and transcripts; we process them only as needed to provide the service.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages. Our aggregate direct liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months or the minimum permitted by law. Liability that cannot be excluded by law is not limited by these terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate the service if you breach these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or where required by law. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Contact: support@linggua.ai.
